412 Beats is an augmented reality mobile platform that connects urban users to new, site-specific music. By linking audio content to images placed on the streets, 412 Beats creates an interactive and serendipitous audio experience. Leveraging computer vision and augmented reality to tag images, any user with a mobile camera and internet connection can retrieve the placed audio. A tool for local musicians, neighbourhood communities, and the everyday urban explorer, 412 Beats reimagines the way we interact with sound and the city.
