# 2016 Aeon |
Aeon is a device for storing personal digital data and passing it on to one’s descendants. Materialised as a “branch of life,” Aeon links its user to a cloud storage system dedicated to storing photos, videos, music, documents, and other personal materials. When the user passes away, two authorised witnesses symbolically break the object to deliver its content. Through this simple gesture, the data is sent to the user’s predefined heirs, as a form of digital inheritance.
