Artificial Spider Silk

About

High-performance synthetic spider silk for durable textiles

Artificial spider silk, synthesized from amino acids and polyurethane, replicates the extraordinary toughness of natural spider silk, offering high strength and elasticity. Its durability makes it ideal for applications like sportswear, safety belts, body armour, and parachutes. By overcoming the limitations of natural silk production, this innovation enables scalable manufacturing, providing a sustainable, high-performance material for industries requiring lightweight yet robust textiles. Its versatility expands the potential market for cutting-edge, durable silk-based products
