About

Leveraging micro-wind patterns to generate electricity from palm trees

BaTree uses palm trees as sensors, harnessing micro-winds to produce electricity. Custom machine learning tools analyse tree movement from video recordings, reflecting wind intensity and mapping micro-wind patterns against expected macro winds. Concurrently, piezoelectric technology converts this movement into electrical energy, offering an innovative approach to energy generation and leveraging a prevalent plant species in the UAE.
