BB Owl is a smart home kit designed for postpartum working mothers and the family members who are taking care of the baby at home. Composed of toys, a camera, a remote control and a mobile app, the project aims to use online connection to reduce the stresses of being the working mother of a newborn baby. Despite being confined to the office, the user can monitor and interact with her baby through a webcam and mobile app. By providing an online platform where she can receive support from her family members, BB Owl provides a way to feel comfortably engaged in both parenting and work.
