Bee2Bee is a mobile, lightweight, digitally monitored, and quick-to-assemble culture system for bees. The system supports the care of bee colonies in an increasingly hostile environment. Popping up like a parasol, Bee2Bee enables quick assembly to maintain mobility. By digitally monitoring the hives, the system simplifies the medical treatment and care of the insects. The honeybee is considered the third most important animal to our food production after cows and pigs. Bee2Bee provides a new way to stop the honeybee’s decline by reinventing the beehive as a sustainable and manageable ecosystem.
