Users submit online applications, detailing travel and hosting availability, location, and interests. Using these characteristics, Bequest connects travellers and hosts to form multi-generational partnerships. Traditionally, the elderly take the role of the host, and the young that of the traveller, thus fulfilling the youthful craving for travel and education and the elderly desire for companionship. Bequest utilises the network of social media to forge mutually beneficial and engaging social interactions.
