Biological data's complexity and increasing volume necessitate advanced AI methods like machine learning (ML) for meaningful insights, but many researchers lack the expertise to utilise these tools effectively. BioAutoML addresses this issue by providing an open-source software package that automates feature extraction, algorithm selection, and hyperparameter tuning for biological data. This user-friendly platform empowers researchers without data science expertise to perform complex analyses, democratising access to ML and enhancing scientific research and innovation across diverse institutions
I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with special studies in data science and data engineering, from the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICMC - USP). I am pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics at the same institution, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, specifically Machine Learning and Data Mining.
