# 2021 Bo.by |
Bo.by is an interactive communication system which connects premature babies in incubators with their parents, in situations where in the past this would have been impossible. It works via wirelessly connected devices with sensors which collect, send and receive data such as touch, movement, vibration, heartbeat, body heat and smell. This gives the infant the feeling of presence of the parent, promoting bonding as well as reducing stress on their sensory and central nervous systems, and assisting in their development and social interactions. It also helps the parent bond with the child thereby reducing stress, supporting breastfeeding and building attachment.
