Safe storage system for insulin drugs

Not all diabetic patients have access to the essential cold conditions required for their medication.

Diacare is a storage and cooling device that keeps its internal temperature at the optimum level to preserve insulin drugs. It works by cooling the insulated internal volume with a passive heat exchange system which converts electricity directly into temperature difference. The process can be extended with support from a backup battery thus reducing dependence on electricity.
