Do-da-Deed

About

Game that educates children about child abuse

Do-da-Deed is an interactive card game that encourages awareness around the forms and consequences of child abuse. The game uses a process of action-and-response, providing children with a set of alarming circumstances, such as ‘If a random person follows you while going somewhere’, against a number of responsive actions, such as ‘Shout for help’ or ‘Run to your superhero’. This role-playing of decision-making allows the child to recognise and transfer these responses to real-life circumstances, encouraging an awareness of abusive situations. Do-da-Deed provides a simple and playful medium for parents and children to understand and contextualise abusive behaviour.
