# mena 2020 “Do You Know Your Kitchen?” |
Project “Do You Know Your Kitchen?” explores home kitchen practices and identifies prepping, cooking, cleaning and storing solutions that lead to a healthier and more environmentally friendly diet. The project encompasses an application that details food data and nutritional values and a recipe generator to tackle the issue of food waste. One of its motivations is to clarify the implications of cooking practices passed down for generations (and therefore rarely challenged).
