Ferroelectric Electrolyte Batteries

About

Solid-state batteries maximizing safety and sustainability in energy storage

Ferroelectric Electrolyte Batteries innovates solid-state structural batteries using coaxial cylindrical cells, optimised for beam-like structures. Designed for diverse applications, from vehicles to satellites, these batteries replace traditional active materials with copper and aluminium, serving dual roles as electrodes and current collectors. Utilising a solid-state ferroelectric electrolyte, the cells are also thermoelectric, converting waste heat to energy. Unlike conventional Li-ion batteries, they employ safe, non-flammable components, promising sustainable, versatile energy solutions.
