A system for smart food stocking

How to help people organize the storage of fresh and pantry items in a convenient and hygienic way?. Assisting people to have a more efficient and hygienic way to organize their food sotck, project Fresh Tracker offers a set of smart stickers that link to an app, tracking information such as expiring purchase date of fresh items.

  • Ziyuan Zhu

    Ziyuan Zhu is a designer and developer focusing on harnessing inter-scale tools, from architecture design to computation to confront real-world issues. She used to work in Uber(UX design), Blocher Partner(architecture) and Archdaily.cn(media), where she had the chance to collaborate with people from different disciplines to develop the distinctive design and technical methods. She enjoys merging design into the built environment and human experience to evoke the possibilities of social and commercial impacts. Recently, her work, the Internet of Breaths,  has been selected into Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/ Architecture(Shenzhen). This project is designed to infuse artificial intelligence into everyday objects by leveraging the power of data in a novel way and to delineate an unambiguous picture of the critical socio-environment issue. Ziyuan Zhu graduated from Dalian University of Technology with a degree in urban planning. During her bachelor's, she finished the exchange at the University of Stuttgart, where her work has been selected into the Muellheim Exhibition. She also received the Sakura Technology Full Scholarship provided by the Japan Science and Technology Agency to be a visiting student in the department of informative computer science at Yokohama National University(YNU) and a Full scholarship offered by the Israel Institute of Technology to be an exchange student. Recently, she was selected as one of three China Prize receivers from the SOM Foundation and conducted her research in Urban Residual space, in which she harnesses interactive media to visualise the urban space and provide urban renewal solutions. She is a Master of Architecture Study student at MIT, where she is now exploring the use of computer-aided determination in the environmental design process.more

    Sheng-Hung Lee is a designer, maker and educator. He is inspired by multiple domains of knowledge, different perspectives, and he thrives on creating new value for clients in multi-disciplinary teams. He is trained as an industrial designer and electrical engineer, and his approach to problem solving is influenced by his passion for how design and technology impact on and can be integrated into society. He has collaborated with IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) to inform their their strategy, service and user experience for the Asia market, this work was recently been published in the book <IDSA Blueprint in Asia>. Sheng-Hung has been focusing on organization design that creates systemic impact. He was invited to be a jury for multiple international design competition including IDEA, Spark Design Award, IDA Award and A’ Design Award and Competition. He also worked as a researcher at the National Science Council in Taiwan and is a member of respected institutions such as Taiwan Society of Technology and Sociology, Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society, and China Technical Consultants Inc. Sheng-Hung graduated with a double Bachelor’s degree (Hon.) in Industrial Design and Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. His work has won prestigious awards including IDEA Gold, Braun Prize, Core77 Design Award, Red Dot (Best of the Best), Spark Design Award, European Product Design Award (Gold) and iF Award. In his spare time, Sheng-Hung teaches product design at Fudan University Shanghai Institute of Visual Art and Detao Masters Academy.more
