# 2020 Insulite |
Insulite is an artificial pancreas giving patients more control in the management of type 1 diabetes, thus helping to bring ‘normality’ back into their lives. The discrete and wearable artificial device is paired with an intuitive app interface. It allows maximum control by means of automatic insulin injections that are adjusted based on measured leaves of blood glucose. Repeat prescription ‘flexi-sensors’ containing needles and glucose sensors are replaced every 14 days. Insulite comes with a dedicated charger-container which allows patients to store and charge their device safely and in a sterile environment.
