Improved ankle guard for athletes

Ironware is a protective ankle guard designed to reduce the high number of ankle sprains caused by intense physical activities. Based on research into the impact and vibration of skeletal muscles, the flexible and supportive Ironware ankle guard removes unnecessary protection, allowing the crucial straps to be more focused, efficient and stable. The guard boards on either side, held in place by a three-part binding, prevent the ankle from rolling outwards or inwards. The cross-strap stabilises the ankle and prevents any shaking from side-to-side or back-to-front, while the lower strap surrounds the area where the root bone meets the heel ligament, relieving pressure on the foot’s arch. The Ironware guard also has interior padding to add comfort and heat-sensitive polyester that adjusts according to the shape of the wearer’s foot.
