LiftOFF Technologies

About

Next-gen batteries for electric flight

The aviation industry faces major hurdles in electrification due to battery technology limitations, including energy density and safety. LiftOFF Technologies addresses these issues with transition metal fluoride (TMF) cathodes, which store up to five times more lithium than traditional batteries and remain stable up to 1000°C, enhancing safety. By advancing synthesis and preparation methods, this innovation enables practical electric flight for short-range urban transport, paving the way for cleaner, faster, and quieter aviation solutions
