# 2020 Milli |
Many deaf or hard of hearing people live in accommodation unequipped to keep them safe in the event of a night-time emergency, such as a fire alarm which they would not be woken up by. Milli is a device able to detect the sound of an emergency alarm and wake up deaf or hard of hearing users through haptics. It is designed to be unobtrusive and can also act as a daily alarm. The under-pillow alarm can be controlled via a smart bedside clock or the Milli app.
