# 2020 Peppy |
People with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) must stick to a daily routine of clearing their lungs of mucus in order to stay healthy. Positive expiratory pressure (PEP) therapy is an airway clearance technique used by CF patients. Peppy makes this otherwise monotonous routine exciting and enjoyable through the use of fun attachments that children can play with using their breath as they breath out against a resistance. Peppy also functions as a spirometer, recording the user’s lung function levels and logging data onto a dedicated app, where it can be accessed by parents and medical professionals.
