Pureknit

About

A washable and sustainable anti-pollution mask

Pureknit is a reusable anti-pollution mask made with minimal material waste. It is estimated that ninety per cent of cities worldwide are currently suffering from air pollution, causing some nine million deaths per year. Pureknit addresses both the cause and effect of this problem, offering effective protection against air pollution without contributing to the larger issue of waste production. The mask is made with 3D-knitting technology – meaning that, by limiting its assembling operations, its production generates almost no material loss.
