Velcro Wall Covering is a wall-hanging tool for patients of Alzheimer's and dementia. Velcro tiles can attach either to entire walls, or to specific locations, dependent on individual needs. Users can then suspend commonly used household objects on the walls, thus removing them from drawers and table surfaces, where they're easily lost or forgotten. The tile’s Velcro adhesive also eliminates the need for the dangerous tools typically used for hanging objects, such as a hammer and nails. With their adhesive backing, the tiles are strong enough to hold a variety of household objects, while light enough to leave walls and surfaces unmarked after removal. By providing the user an intuitive system for storing their favorite items, Velcro Wall Covering promotes an environment of independence and safety.
