Ali Shtarbanov is a Bulgarian-American interdisciplinary system architect, HCI researcher, and electrical engineer who is currently a PhD student at MIT Media Lab. Ali has co‑authored 14 publications on topics related to Interactive Interfaces, Haptic feedback, Development Platforms, Assistive technology, Human‑Robot Interaction, and Wearable technology. His works have won multiple design, research, and engineering awards and grants exceeding $100,000 in combined value and have been featured in numerous news articles and magazines including BBC Science Focus, Tech Briefs, Fast Company, and Hackster.
