Bin Yu is a PhD student in Designed Intelligence research group, ID department of TU/e. He obtained his dual bachelor degrees in Industrial Design and Biomedical Engineering at Chongqing University (2010). Afterwards, he received his MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University (2012). His researches are at the intersection of technology and arts, interaction design and physiological computing. Through the design the perceptualization of biofeedback information (visualization, sonification and materialization of bio-data), he aims to improve the biofeedback effect and user experience for stress mitigation and relaxation in everyday life.
