Mavis is a product designer from Hong Kong. During her study, she had collaborated on several design projects related to disabled community. For her final project on Master Programme at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, she developed, under the guidance of her professor Philippe Casens, the design of an innovative steering wheel for paraplegic car drivers. Mavis believes “When we design for disabled, we will all benefits-Elise Roy”.
Currently, she engaged in Research Design, from Research Methodology to Product Development, working hand in hands with Social Scientists on exploring communities and social innovations topics. Her strength stays in identifying user-related insights and translating customer needs into criteria for design development.
