Nisa, a Senior Lecturer at Swinburne University, is an emerging leader with international research experience across the USA, France, Germany and India. Nisa is particularly passionate about research innovation and translation. Her research is focused on “Multifunctional Materials” for lightweight and functional integration for Space and Aerospace applications. Nisa has won many awards in her research career, including Gold Medal for Research Excellence, Victoria and Endeavour Fellowships, Australian Academy of Science fellowship, Royal Society of Victoria Award and many more. Nisa’s vision is to develop smart, engineered living materials that can sense, actuate, and harvest energy.
