Esmerly Simé Segura is a Dominican Industrial and Footwear Designer born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She graduated the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Industrial Design and a minor in Footwear and Accessory Design. She has previously collaborated in sponsored studios with BMW Group Technology Office and HEINEKEN USA and has worked for Kohler Co., Banana Republic and Ancestry. Her design education and collective of professional experiences have led her to understand the potentials of design for sustainability, pursue innovation in the realms of human and digital interactions as an experience designer in the automotive and tech industries and explore the infinite possibilities of form, color, material and finish in the footwear, jewelry and kitchen & bath industries. Through her work, she aims to encourage passion and energy as a journey through design.
