Gabriel Arias Mercado is an Industrial Design student at Tecnológico de Monterrey. His intention as a designer is to contribute to the betterment of the world; he firmly believes empathy is the key for a significant impact. He is passionate about developing solutions to a wide variety of problems and necessities using mainly the design of products and systems. The privileged position Gabriel situates himself in, and the guidance he has received through his life, are the main motivation that directs him to immerse in projects that improve the social conditions and reduce the inequality gap in his country and the world.
