Joyce Lee is a design-engineering graduate student at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, specializing in interdisciplinary innovation. As a defense professional, systems thinker, and artist-designer, Joyce brings a unique blend of creative and analytical expertise to her work. She identifies as a futurist, envisioning transformative possibilities for addressing complex global challenges. Joyce has exhibited her artwork both nationally and internationally and has contributed to major industry and nationwide projects. Her current research focuses on tackling infant mortality, investigating its underlying factors both globally and domestically, with a special emphasis on advancing emergency medical services (EMS) transportation and maternal health solutions.
