Originally from Pakistan, Balagamwala's work stems from personal experience, frequently transforming controversial and sensitive cultural topics into unique games, designs and experiences.
Her work helps create a dialogue as well as provide a safe space to discuss pressing issues.
Balagamwala’s work has been recognised globally, by publications such as the BBC, Fortune, The Guardian, The Times of India, and several other notable media.
Prior to working in New York, Balagamwala attended the Rhode Island School of Design and worked at Hasbro, Inc.
