Nebojsa Jakica holds a PhD from Politecnico di Milano on the topic of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), with a particular focus on the integration of simulations and optimizations in the parametric design processes and tools for achieving Zero Energy Buildings. He has published and presented his research on many prestigious conferences and journals across fields of architecture, architectural engineering and photovoltaics. He is currently a leader of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Photovoltaics Power Systems (PVPS) Task 15, Subtask E.5 on Design and Performance of BIPV and a member of international associations Tensinet, IASS, ACADIA, CIB, IBPSA. During his studies, he worked as an architect and a consultant at Vittorio Grassi Architetto and Partners where he has actively contributed in winning many international competitions worldwide. He is also winner of many national (Serbia) and international (Italy) study grants and scholarships
