Ricardo A. M. Pereira graduated from the University of Coimbra in 2017 with an M.Sc. degree in Physics Engineering. After working there as a Research Assistant, he began his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Aveiro, on radiative wireless power transfer. His main research topics are studying gaussian beams for optimal microwave beam propagation. Currently, he is a volunteer at the IEEE WPT Initiative and the chair of the IEEE MTTs&APs SBC at the University of Aveiro.
