We are Rommel Araujo and Fabricio Brasil, a team of engineers with postgraduate degrees in neuroengineering. We are passionate about developing med-tech solutions in this area. We spent two years at Santos Dumont Institute searching for accessible technologies to recover motor activity after a stroke. This work resulted in the development of a hand exoskeleton for upper limb rehabilitation, which project was shared with the scientific community in the Journal Frontiers in Neuroscience. However, we decided to bring the device outside the academic walls and invest our energy to launch the product in the market. Nowadays, so many patients are anxious for new solutions to help their recovery, and we think we can help them with that. We hope that our project may increase the access of millions of people worldwide to state-of-the-art technologies for motor rehabilitation.
