Tusekile Alfredy is a materials scientist with a passion for solving water-related challenges. During her Ph.D. journey, she developed a composite material that demonstrated high efficiency in removing fluoride from water using energy-efficient water treatment technology known as capacitive deionization. Currently, she is looking for opportunities to take her research findings from the laboratory scale to the development of a capacitive deionization defluoridation prototype suitable for household use.
