Valentina Pérez Escobar is a Colombian designer that applies design thinking in research and development processes to face all kinds of challenges, creating self-sustainable designs within their context. It allows her to integrate knowledge from diverse disciplines to gain a broader perspective, and address problems from multiple angles. That’s where her passion for Biodesign emerges, as it brings together nature, science, technology, and design to develop solutions influenced by field research, always with the aim of contributing to society and the planet, incorporating sustainability and circular economy principles into her final proposals.
