Yun Suen Pai is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Keio University Graduate School of Media Design (KMD), directing the Physionetic Interactions Group in Embodied Media. His research interest is in XR, HCI, biosignals, and cognition. He graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, with a bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering. In 2018, he received his Ph.D. from KMD and was a Postdoc at the Empathic Computing Laboratory, New Zealand, until 2021. He collaborated with Airbus, Fujitsu, Google, and so on for works like vision augmentation, and assistive technologies. His current research is the development of cybernetic avatar technology.
