Higher School of Art and Design is based in Saint-Etienne, France, the school developed the design department in 1990 and create in 1998 the International Design Biennial and is specialized in product, graphic and digital design. This dynamic continues today within the cooperation joining the school and the Cité du Design. Saint-Etienne integrate network design Creative Cities UNESCO since November 2010, participation in this network concedes international recognition to the city for its actions in the field of design and innovation.
