Université Libre des Pays des Grands Lacs, ULPGL/Goma Founded in 1985, is one of major universities in DRC, located in North-kivu in Goma town gathering seven faculties among them the faculty of sciences and applied technologies.
Specifically, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technologies aims to:
Provide the technical and intellectual support necessary for the promotion of local development initiatives.
Provide training for men and women capable of setting up appropriate technologies for the development of their environment and of initiating them adequately, taking into account the safeguard of the ecological environment
Train competent engineers capable of Collaborative and Industrial Design focuses on design innovation.
Reflect and materialize their ideas through inventions adapted to the realities of the environment.
Observe the characteristics of their environment.
