The university of Buraimi was established in 2010 and is a private investment of Buraimi Educational Services Company (SAOG), operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, UOB is committed to quality education ensuring its students will enrich the workforce of the Sultanate of Oman, the region and the global markets.
The University offers undergraduate programmes in six Engineering majors, Health Sciences includes Nursing and Optometry, Law studies, in addition to nine pathways in Business Administration. All these programmes are delivered in both full time except Law Studies and HR management which are delivered in both full and part time mode during the weekends. UoB also offers Master programme in Cyber Security.
