The School of Art, Design and Architecture provides a progressive and diverse environment, where research and teaching excellence meets creative practice. Our courses are award-winning, professionally accredited and research intensive. The School is housed in the award-winning Barbara Hepworth Building which represents many of the values that we aspire to: the studios are open-planned to provide a light and airy environment that encourages collaboration and interaction. We are also equipped with specialist facilities that allow students to explore both traditional ways of making alongside cutting-edge technologies in our various disciplinary areas.
