FOG PIXEL

FOG PIXEL is an interactive installation that emits a stream of fog in a rectangular shape, creating a grid of fog “pixels”. Using steam as a medium for interaction design, FOG PIXEL introduces a method for controlling the fog stream’s movements in coordination with light and sound. Distance sensors detect the presence of people nearby, triggering fog streams, thus making it possible to create controlled steam for specific stage effects or to subtly mark out the perimeter of the stage.
