Nakuru Tubers

About

Nakura Tubers is transforming Kenya's potato industry by providing smallholder farmers with disease-free, high-yielding potato seedlings. Using tissue culture technology and a custom nutrient formula for hydroponic systems, Nakura Tubers boosts seed potato yields by 120% while improving starch and sugar content. This innovative approach reduces dependency on farm-saved seeds, curbs the spread of pests and diseases, and helps farmers adapt to climate change. The result is improved food security, reduced pesticide use, and better nutrition for vulnerable communities
