Prototypes for Humanity Expands Strategic Partnerships with AtkinsRéalis and Silal

Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity is proud to announce the signing of strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with two new partners: global engineering and design consultancy AtkinsRéalis, and UAE agri-food leader Silal. The signings took place during a majlis hosted by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), at the Dubai Future Foundation, bringing together academic ventures and industry leaders from key public and private sector entities participating in the programme. The gathering reflected the programme's continued growth and supported the advancement of several projects into active pilot and commercialisation stages in Dubai.

The MoU with AtkinsRéalis is focused on sustainable infrastructure and the future of the built environment, creating clearer pathways for academic innovators to connect with industry expertise, delivery networks, and real operating environments across the UAE. Together, the two organisations will support the validation, piloting, and scaling of innovations that address pressing urban challenges including resilience, sustainability, climate adaptation and liveability.

The MoU with Silal is focused on food systems and agricultural technologies, reflecting the programme's growing commitment to innovations that strengthen national and global food security. This collaboration opens new pathways for researchers working at the intersection of agri-tech, sustainability, and supply chain resilience to bring their solutions closer to real-world implementation.

The announcements also highlighted a new collaboration with the Dubai Research, Development and Innovation Programme, further reinforcing the programme's commitment to supporting research advancement and commercialisation pathways for emerging technologies.

These partnerships reflect the programme's increasingly sector-focused approach and its direct contribution to national and global future resilience priorities, deepening Dubai's role as a world-leading hub for applied innovation.
