Air Ring 49 is a lightweight, helmet-mounted device that cools the body by targeting key heat zones behind the neck and ears; lowering skin temperature by 5.1°C and core temperature by 0.67°C. Its smart-locking mechanism fits all safety helmets, offering 15 hours of contactless cooling per charge. Water-resistant, impact-proof, and dual-functional as a neck fan, Air Ring 49 improves comfort, safety, and productivity for outdoor workers facing rising temperatures and climate-related heat risks

Jeff is Co-Founder and COO of Haykozé, proprietors of the Air Ring 49 (AR49), an award-winning biomedical cooling innovation preventing heat-stress in construction. AR49 has won the acclaimed James Dyson Award and been deployed by major construction companies. With faith he drives Haykozé’s engineering, business, and strategy. Works are featured by Smithsonian Magazine and HOY TV. With professional design experience in architecture and construction companies in Hong Kong and Ghana, he brings international perspectives across architecture, product design, and business development. He's also received 2 prestigious scholarships from The University of Hong Kong. He prefers this description: “A team’s glue.”
