Belly Buddy is a pioneering prenatal care system designed to manage breech pregnancies through early detection and non-invasive correction. It combines a handheld device with thermal imaging for accurate foetal position detection, a smart Belly Pad that provides corrective therapy, and a supportive app offering personalised exercises and educational content. Belly Buddy aims to reduce caesarean section rates, improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes, and empower mothers with greater control and confidence throughout their pregnancy

As a defense professional, systems thinker, and artist-designer, Joyce brings a unique blend of creative and analytical expertise to her work. She identifies as a futurist, envisioning transformative possibilities for addressing complex global challenges. Joyce has exhibited her artwork both nationally and internationally and has contributed to major industry and nationwide projects. Her current research focuses on tackling infant mortality, investigating its underlying factors both globally and domestically, with a special emphasis on advancing emergency medical services (EMS) transportation and maternal health solutions.
