Micro Bio-Electro Reactors

Micro Bio-Electro Reactors

About

This project addresses the limitations of the traditional electrochemical reactors currently used to study electro-active microbes, which are crucial for applications such as carbon capture and bioplastic production. The new miniaturised reactor offers higher sensitivity and resolution, allowing for more detailed measurements and additional capabilities, such as in-situ imaging. This innovative device accelerates the screening and engineering of electro-active microbes, facilitating their integration into environmental and pharmaceutical technologies while broadening research possibilities across various industries
