About

Anaphylaxis is a severe and potentially life-threatening reaction to a trigger such as an allergy. For its prevention, patients need to carry an adrenaline auto-injector at all times; however, the large size and obvious medical appearance of these devices means that people often choose not to do so. Revive is a new adrenaline auto-injector whose compact size makes it easy to carry around and discreetly fit into a patient’s life. A new needle-injection system allows for compactness, simplicity and a pocket-friendly rectangular shape, while a QR code allows for regulatory information and instructions to be discreetly integrated into the device.

I’d categorise myself as a multidisciplinary designer with an unorthodox background. I’m passionate about design, which causes tangible impact for people – such as medical design. Within this, I get particularly excited about niche contexts, addressing overlooked stakeholders' needs and near-future trends. Our other co-founder is Urshita Gautam who also recently graduated from the Royal College of Art. She is a design researcher and strategist, writer and a trained architect.
