SmartMedTrack

About

Medicines such as insulin, vaccines and some cancer treatments can lose effectiveness when exposed to unsuitable temperatures, even when their packaging appears undamaged. SmartMedTrack uses sensors to monitor medicine boxes and shipments, analysing temperature exposure in real time against validated safety thresholds. QR scanning tracks multiple packages efficiently, while blockchain-backed records create a traceable history of storage and transport conditions. The system provides immediate alerts and automated compliance records, helping pharmacies, distributors and hospitals reduce waste, protect patients and identify cold-chain failures before affected medicines are used.
