AquaByte

Project Overview
About
Feed is the largest operating cost in shrimp farming, and excess feed can pollute ponds, raise ammonia levels and harm shrimp health. AquaByte moves across the pond to distribute feed more evenly than stationary systems. Sensors continuously monitor ammonia and pH, while a mobile application allows farmers to review conditions and control feeding decisions in real time. A cone-shaped dispenser helps prevent blockages and maintain a consistent feed flow. By improving feed distribution and responding to pond conditions, the system could reduce costs and pollution while supporting healthier shrimp and more sustainable aquaculture.
