ElephasCare tackles the staffing and quality challenges in long-term care facilities with an AI-powered radar system. Utilising non-visual radar sensors, the platform continuously monitors residents' activities, detecting falls and health anomalies without compromising privacy. The data is processed in real-time, sending alerts to caregivers for prompt intervention and generating detailed reports for personalised care. This approach enhances safety, reduces hospital admissions, and supports caregivers with actionable insights, all while preserving residents' dignity and privacy

Hajar is the Chief Research Officer at Gold Sentinel, where she leads the ElephasCare project, and serves as a research scientist at the University of Waterloo. With a PhD in AI-powered radar systems, she focuses on developing AI and RF sensing technologies for healthcare and automotive safety. She has published over 40 papers, holds several patents, and has extensive experience in radar-based systems, signal processing, and machine learning. Hajar brings strong leadership, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to advancing innovative solutions.
