Project Overview

About

Hipcare is a 3D-printed solution for treating hip dysplasia in babies that prioritises comfort and hygiene. Made from lightweight polylactic acid (PLA) with copper particles, it is customised using radiography results, ensuring the correct hip position. Unlike traditional plaster casts, Hipcare reduces skin issues, anaesthesia needs, and diaper challenges, it even allows for baths. This innovation enhances babies' quality of life, setting a new orthopaedic care standard and promoting overall well-being.
